Organix Taste for Life programme was initially launched in 2010 across the UK.
The programme’s new look website includes free resources linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage such as activity sheets and materials designed to support and assist nurseries in developing and improving children’s attitudes to healthy eating and enshrining in them good habits for life.
A monthly newsletter with advice from food experts and challenges has also been launched.
Debbie Roberts, consumer services manager at Organix, said, ‘This is the next phase in our Taste for Life food adventure which aims to promote the benefits and enjoyment of good food to children, taking them on an exciting food journey. At Organix, we believe that the food children eat in the early days shapes their eating habits of the future.
'Programmes such as Taste for Life make it simple and easy to introduce fruit and vegetables and start healthy eating habits for children to take with them into adulthood. It’s an incredibly valuable and fun resource and we hope lots more nurseries, childminders and mums will take advantage of it.’
