Hearing tests for Scottish babies

Babies born in Tayside are the first in Scotland to benefit from a national screening programme in which all infants have a hearing test in their first six weeks of life. The Newborn Hearing Screening service is based at maternity units in Perth Royal Infirmary and Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, and is backed up by clinics and home visits in Tayside and Angus.
