Wednesday, December 19, 2001

Deaf and blind children at Carnbooth School in Glasgow will be able to enjoy the texture and smell of plants in a specially landscaped garden thanks to a 5,000 cheque from the Abbey National and a bright idea from garden designer Ann McNair, who started the garden with a few scented pot plants that she thought the children would enjoy.
