National postcard campaign

Wednesday, September 24, 2003

A national postcard campaign calling on the Government to make high-quality, affordable childcare accessible to all families was launched last week by the Daycare Trust. The campaign stems from the Childcare Challenge project which aims to increase childcare opportunities for families living in poverty. The postcards read, 'To make life better for me and my family, I want a children's centre near my home; to know my child is safe and happy; childcare that I can afford; and employers to be flexible.' The postcards are available from the Daycare Trust on 020 7840 3350 or by e-mailing info@daycaretrust.org.uk or visiting the website at www.daycaretrust.org.uk.
