The nursery group, which was formed last year via the merger of The Nursery Family (six settings) and Bambinos Childcare Centres (four settings), has bought Home from Home Nursery in Hove and Stepping Stones Day Nursery and Pre-school in Okehampton, West Devon, both rated outstanding by Ofsted.
The new settings bring the nursery group's total number of sites to 22.
Dianne Lumsden-Earle, chief childcare & operations officer at iStep, said, ‘These two nurseries are exactly the kind we want to work with – they are providing excellent outcomes for the children, and we hope to help them continue to do so, and even improve.
‘We have ambitious plans to continue to grow. It is a very exciting time to be part of iStep.’
Since being established in May last year, iStep Learning has acquired settings including Footsteps Day Nursery - a group of two settings in Portside and Hove, the Little Explorers Day Nurseries chain of three sites in Burgess Hill and Crawley, followed by Frogmore Montessori Nursery and Muddy Boots Day Nursery.
