We want to hear from all private, voluntary and maintained nurseries, and the results will be published in a research report in January.
The bi-annual Business Performance Survey includes questions on occupancy, fees, the funding for two-, three- and four-year-olds, expansion plans and a range of issues to compile a picture of how well nurseries are doing in the difficult economic climate and responding to Government initiatives. The findings will contribute to policy ideas around the provision of high-quality, affordable childcare.
NDNA chief executive Purnima Tanuku said, 'We are pleased to be working with Nursery World to promote our latest six-monthly Business Performance Survey.
'NDNA will be using the results from this survey to advise policymakers on what is happening on the ground and encourage informed policymaking that supports high quality provision delivered by a healthy early years sector.'
The online survey is open to all early years settings until 30 November and you do not have to be an NDNA member or subscribe to Nursery World to take part. To complete the survey visit http://www.ndna.org.uk/news/ndna-surveys/business-performance-survey
Everyone taking part will be entered into a prize draw to win a Mr Rabbit in a Lettuce donated by NDNA's corporate partner, Hope Education.
