(Photograph) - Four-year-olds Emma and Layla admire the Persian New Year display in the foyer of Gwendolin House Nursery in Putney, London. Persian New Year, or Norooz, begins on 21 March, the first day of spring. Seven dishes are laid out on a table to represent health, happiness, prosperity, joy, patience, beauty and life-rebirth. The mirror reflects images of creation to celebrate the beginning of a new cycle of life.
