Practitioners' views sought for NDNA survey

Careers & Training
Early years practitioners are invited to take part in the National Day Nurseries Association’s (NDNA)annual workforce survey.

The survey, which runs until Sunday 18 February, covers practitioner’s roles, qualifications, hours worked and pay.

An aim of the survey is to find out whether practitioners have a second job and if EU nationals born outside the UK are worried about the impact of Brexit.

Those that take part will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win one of three prizes - £100 of shopping vouchers, an online early training course worth £25 or an NDNA publication of choice.

NDNA will publish results from its survey of practitioners in the spring.

It follows on from the NDNA’s Workforce Survey for employers, which the organisation launched last month and is now closed.

Purnima Tanuku chief executive of NDNA, said, ‘Our practitioners' survey is a great opportunity for us to hear practitioners' voices and create a complete picture of the early year’s workforce.

‘NDNA is dedicated to lobbying Government to invest in a quality workforce so it is very important for everyone to fill in the survey so we can continue our hard work to make change.’
