Nursery World is inviting early years providers to put forward questions for HMRC about Tax-Free Childcare.

HMRC is keen to hear from providers about the Government scheme, which continues to suffer from low take-up among parents, resulting in an underspend of billions of pounds despite numerous attempts to promote it.

Nurseries, pre-schools and childminders should email their questions about the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme by 5pm Friday (21 April) to news.nw@markallengroup.com. Questions will be forwarded to HMRC and answered by policy advisors.

Questions, which can be from a childcare provider’s point of view or on behalf of parents, along with the answers from HMRC, will be published within an article on the Nursery World website.

Tax-Free Childcare was launched by the Government in 2017, enabling eligible working parents to claim back £2,000 a year on childcare costs.
