Report claims high childcare costs stop jobless parents from working

A quarter of unemployed parents say they are unable to work because they cannot afford to pay for childcare, a new report claims.

Research by Findababysitter.com for its annual childcare report hasfound that 25 per cent of the parents surveyed, who have two or threechildren, want to work, but say that they are prevented from doing sobecause childcare costs are too high.
