How did it feel to be named a winner of the Best Business Awards (BBA)?
Thrilled. It was really amazing to win. It is a lovely personal achievement for me. Usually awards are about the business and are motivational for the team, but this one recognised my personal journey from a young mum to a successful business director.
How is winning a BBA advantageous?
Hopefully I will be able to use this to verify my credibility as a business leader. I hope to use this to get into other areas s or work as a mentor for start-ups.
Dizzy Ducks have won a lot of awards since launching, what is the key to your success?
The key to my success I believe, is that I know I can't do it all, and I am very aware of my strengths and weaknesses and, as such, I surround myself with the most incredible team of people who plug the gaps. I am very clear with my team about my objectives and as such, we have strong leaders to run a very successful nursery chain. Watch out for nurseries six and seven coming soon!
