Young people and parents are to be involved in a cross-government consultation on youth leading to a green paper to be published in the autumn, the DfES has revealed in its Five Year Strategy for Children and Learners. Minister for children Margaret Hodge will lead the consultation, which will include the Home Office, the Department of Health, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the Social Exclusion Unit and the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit.
