By the end of the course, practitioners will be able to understand the safeguarding requirements of the EYFS, describe the role of and understand the responsibilities of the designated safeguarding lead and effectively deliver safeguarding training for all staff in the nursery. Attendees will also learn how to respond appropriately to any allegations made against a member of staff and be able to support their whole team, children and families with any safeguarding issues or concerns.
