Australia day

Monday, February 10, 2014

Pre-school children at Poppies Daycare Nursery in Wiltshire made aboriginal artwork to celebrate Australia Day.

The setting also hopes to start a pen pal relationship with the nursery in Australia that one of their children now attends after emigrating to the other side of the world.

Dizzy Ducks nursery group also marked the event with an 'I'm a Dizzy Duck, get me outta here' day, while at Kiddi Caru in Peterborough, (pictured below), staff and
children dressed up as Australian animals or by wearing beach clothes, played in a pretend swap and ate barbeque food.
