Make sure you don't miss the next in our series of Minibeasts posters available exclusively in Nursery World magazine. Ants feature in the final poster in the 1 to 14 November issue, now on sale.
The six-part series of posters aims to show early years practitioners how to tap into young children's fascination with minibeasts and to capitalise on the learning opportunities that can flow from explorations of these tiny creatures and insects.
Each poster has beautiful photographs to illustrate the life and habitat of different minibeasts, and on the back, early years consultant Judith Stevens provides facts and figures, ideas for enhancing provision, and suggestions for books to read.
Posters in the series are: Beetles and Ladybirds, Bees, Butterflies, Snails and Slugs, Spiders, and Ants.
