Nurseries across the country have been celebrating Halloween.

Brampton Day Nursery in Huntingdonshire held a pumpkin party. The children prepared the vegetables for pumpkin soup, which they later enjoyed with a pumpkin muffin round a campfire.

Footsteps Nursery in Farnborough held a spooky tea party and pumpkin-carving competition.

Twinkles Nursery in Knaresborough had a visit from some creepy crawlies from Zoo Lab as part of their Halloween celebrations.

Rexton House Nursery in Aldenham cooked pumpkin pie and talked about staying safe when trick or treating.

Children at Little Acorns Nursery in Gomersal played ghoulish games, had spooky party food and went on a ghost hunt.

Child’s Play Nursery in Ferryhill was visited by Zoo Lab who told the story of Meg and Mog with the help of some snakes, spiders and rats.

Little Angels Nursery in Brighton dressed up in spooky costumes, decorated the nursery and carved their own pumpkins.
