Childbase Partnership has started 2019 with a £1.2m payout to staff in its 43 day nurseries in the South of England, recognising their status as employee owners.
The dividend of £750 each for all employee owners – currently more than 2,000 – represents a 10 per cent increase on last year’s inaugural payment and follows an average 4 per cent pay increase for nursery practitioners in November.
