St George's Day

Friday, May 3, 2013

Early years settings found various ways to mark St George's Day on 23 April.

Children at Little Acorns in Gomersal (top) and kidsunlimited Epping in Essex (middle) dressed in costume in honour of England's patron saint, while children and staff at Little Angels Nursery in Brighton, East Sussex (bottom) made a castle in the setting's garden.

At Brights Kids Crabbs Cross in Redditch, Worcestershire (below) children visited a local chip shop for lunch and developed their own chip shop role play.
