The Government has distanced itself from a report produced by the Department for Education and Skills proposing that schools of the future employ only one teacher and use more support staff in the classroom. The document, Workforce reform - Blue Skies, was dated 11 November and circulated to all the unions that signed up to the workload agreement, which applies to schools in England and Wales. The report made the case for schools to be able to employ more support staff by cutting the number of teachers.

This is usually with one of the function keys, F4 or F5; it sometimes has a picture of a monitor on it. Hold down the Fn key, usually bottom right of the keyboard, and press the correct function key.

Christmas came early this year for four-year-old Jack from Twickenham when his picture of a Christmas tree won this year's Teddies Christmas card competition. His design appears on 3,000 cards being sent to parents of children at BUPA's Teddies Nurseries. It won the young artist Pounds 25 in vouchers and 200 worth of equipment for his nursery at March Road, Twickenham. Nursery manager Kim Seex said, 'Jack loves drawing and spent a lot of time working on his design. The children really enjoyed coming up with ideas and it's a great way to show parents what we do.'
