EYP Update: CWDC takes to the road

CWDC is hitting the road this winter. It is taking Early Years Professional Status on tour with a series of live events across the country, which will bring to life the benefits of the status to prospective Early Years Professionals.

To attract passers-by, children's ball pools will be stationed in some of the country's largest shopping centres. Visitors to stalls staffed by CWDC representatives, local training providers and Early Years Professionals will have an opportunity to find out more about EYPS and how to gain it.

Although aimed primarily at existing early years workers and settings managers, the events are also an important opportunity to tell parents about the status face to face. Parents will have a chance to find out about what EYPS means and the benefits it will deliver to their children, as well as an opportunity to discuss the potential of working as Early Years Professionals themselves.
