Nursery World - 1m Sure Start building

Work has started on a new 1m Sure Start building in Felling, Gateshead. The building will enable Felling Sure Start to provide purpose-built facilities for children aged up to four and their parents. Linda Green, a Gateshead council member for Children and Young People, said, 'The fact that we have secured 1m of funding reflects our commitment to providing the best start in life for local children. I'm sure when the new Felling Sure Start opens it will be a great success.' The building is due for completion in autumn 2005.
