Work on a 500,000 Sure Start nursery on the site of Ditton Library in Widnes, Cheshire, has just been completed by building firm Whitfield & Brown. New facilities include a purpose-built creche offering sessional care for children aged three months to five years. Additional Sure Start services such as baby massage, parenting groups and ante-natal sessions will follow later in the year.
