(Photograph) - Bratz were close to little girls' hearts this year, as seven-year-old Crichelle Brice demonstrated at the 50th toy fair held by the British Association of Toy Retailers (BATR) in London last week. Bratz dolls by Bandi UK were named Girls' Toy of the Year, while the top toy for the boys was Spiderman from Vivid/Playmates. The BATR declared the Pre-school Toy of the Year to be the Leap Pad, an interactive book platform from Leapfrog Toys UK, and the overall Toy of the Year to be Beyblades, the interchangeable spinning tops by Hasbro UK.
