(Photograph) - A group of learning support assistants from London were presented with certificates at a celebratory lunch for being the first group to complete Westminster Children's Society's pilot project in basic training to support children with special educational needs. The six-week programme, funded by Westminster EYDCP, aims to fill a gap in provision by creating a pool of trained LSAs to work with children with special educational needs in private and voluntary early years settings.
