A month in the life of Harry Tobias

Harry has had his MMR jab this month, a little later than planned due to his chickenpox and hospital appointments. Initially he was fine, but on day nine he became very pale and pink-eyed. He also had a raised temperature. This lasted for three days, but he has been fine since.

Harry has had his blood tested and his blood pressure checked this month to keep a check on his kidney function. All results were within normal parameters.

At times Harry has quite severe diarrhoea and this has been raised with the health visitor. As there are close relatives on both sides of his family with the condition coeliac, Harry is being monitored in case he too is affected.

Harry now indicates when he has had a bowel movement and needs his nappy changed. He is happy to sit on either his potty or a child-sized toilet seat, and has had some success.
