A public debate on food

A public debate on food promotion to children and its impact on their health is being sponsored by the Food Standards Agency. 'Defusing the diet time bomb' will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster, London, on 27 January. Hosted by radio broadcaster Jeremy Vine, it will be addressed by nutrition experts, advertising figures, and TV chef Anthony Worrall-Thompson. Tickets can be obtained by telephoning 01772 767751 or e-mailing foodandchildren@glasgows.co.uk. It can also be watched on Sky digital channel 687 or live online at www.foodstandards.gov.uk.
