A record 308 Sure Start partners from across England have been nominated and 38 shortlisted for the Sure Start Partners in Excellence Awards, which are linked to the five key outcomes in Every Child Matters: be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-being. The winners will be announced at a ceremony hosted by Minister for Children Margaret Hodge at the Cafe Royal, London, in December.
