An early years reading resource pack

(Photograph) - An early years reading resource pack aims to help support children's language and literacy development in Northern Ireland. All settings that are NIPPA members have received a free copy of the 'Books, Books, Books' resource as a result of funding by Lloyds TSB and the Roald Dahl Foundation. At the launch in NIPPA's headquarters in Belfast were (from left) popular children's author Martin Waddell, NIPPA chief executive Siobhan Fitzpatrick and Pat Jordan, group librarian for North and West Belfast. Ms Fitzpatrick said, 'NIPPA is committed to helping early years practitioners create a love of literature and poetry in young children.'
