Sometimes reading a book that claims to be 'the complete guide' is disappointing because some of the important elements relating to a subject have been left out. This book, endorsed by the National Autistic Society, is certainly not in that category. It really does offer a complete guide to autistic spectrum disorders. It is packed with good, down-to-earth suggestions and ideas, information about different issues connected with autistic spectrum disorders, useful contact details and, perhaps most important of all, tried and true ways of working with a child who has an autistic spectrum disorder.
