Believe me, until you embark on a graduate training course in the early years you will have no idea how much it will benefit now as a practitioner or how much it will benefit the children in your care.
We are professionals, but we will never be given true recognition until we re-train and fight for better standards in both our working conditions and in the quality of the provision needed, both for the children we work with and their families.
