The Bridge Child Care Development Service joined the leading national children's charity NCH yesterday (31 July). The Bridge is best known for its expertise in Part 8 Reviews, which are commissioned when a child dies and abuse or neglect is known or suspected to be a factor in the death or where a child has been harmed. Barry Barnes, regional director of children's services for NCH in London, said, 'Both parties are keen to ensure that under the NCH helm, The Bridge's reputation for objectivity will continue.'
