Nursery World - Call for early years student researchers

The Early Childhood Studies Degree Network (ECSDN) has issued an open call for papers for its research conference.

The second annual ECSDN research conference will be held in London on 25 January and the network is encouraging students to present their work.

The conference is part of the ECSDN 25^th anniversary celebrations and is open to all institutions that offer degrees in early childhood studies.

Presenters could include staff and students whose institutions are members of the network, or staff from non-member institutions.

This year’s conference will also extend to students of ECSDN members.

Papers should be in the field of early childhood education and care and may take the form of empirical research or a position or discussion piece.

Dr Jackie Musgrave, the ECSDN co-vice chair for research and knowledge exchange, said, ‘We are delighted to be able to extend an invitation to students to have the opportunity to present their research findings.
