Care standards inspectors in Wales can extend their professional skills with the introduction of a new qualification. The Regulation of Care Services Award, developed jointly by the Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales and the School of Health and Social Sciences at University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, is a two-year modular course.
