Charity seeks volunteer for African children's centre

Careers & Training
A UK charity, which set up the first children’s centre in Malawi, is looking for an experienced early years professional.

The Krizevac Project currently provides daycare for 120 children at its children’s centre and works with many more as part of its outreach programme, which includes playgroups, parenting groups, health clinics, and support for young carers.

The children's centre was set up in 2012 and is based on the Sure Start model.

The nine-month voluntary position, which would last for a minimum of nine months, would include all expenses, with flights, lodging and meals provided by the charity.

The job would involve working as a childcare trainer with a team of ten other UK volunteers. Previous volunteers include an EYP lecturer and a KS1 teacher and childcare worker.
