Childcare manager Jax Gartside (centre), staff and children of First Steps Day Nursery in West Sussex celebrate their national accreditation after completing the Quality Matters scheme. The nursery, managed by Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology, is one of the first in England to gain the quality assurance award, which was developed in Scotland and is administered in England by the Confederation of British Teachers.
