Childcare month starts to blossom

Sunflowers were blooming all round when children from a Middlesex day nursery came to London Zoo last week to help launch the UK's first National Childcare Month. The children, from Knowle Green Day Nursery in Staines, were highlighting the Sunflower Challenge Grand Planting Out Day taking place on 6 June as part of National Day Nurseries Week. Nurseries across the UK will hold a sponsored sunflower growing competition for the charity WaterAid.
