Childhood Matters

A new service to help corporate organisations and employers to keep up to date with childcare development opportunities is being launched by 4Children at its conference called 'Childhood Matters' on 8 September. It will offer employers support and advice on childcare and work-life balance for employees. Christina Ioannou, head of membership at 4Children, said, 'We want to share our knowledge and expertise so that employers can fully support the childcare and work-life balance needs of their employees.' Proposals in an Ofsted consultation in the autumn are expected to include changing the frequency of inspections from every two to every three years.
