Children's organisations in Scotland

Children's organisations in Scotland are calling on the Government to commit to a ten-year early years strategy that is supported by a one per cent spending in Gross Domestic Product on pre-school services. A manifesto launched by Children in Scotland, called Better lives for Scotland's children and young people, also calls for 50 per cent of all staff working in early years services to be qualified to degree or equivalent level.
