According to the BBC News, Chinese-speaking nannies are the latest sought-after childcarers with families in New York and elsewhere keen to equip their children for China's growing influence in the world economy. It could reflect an educational trend on this side of the Atlantic, too, as at least 100 schools in the UK now teach Mandarin Chinese.
