An independent selection of new products and resources IQ Baby's Discovery Circle is a reversible 'activity mat' which is designed to stimulate a baby from birth up to 30 months. With babies up to around seven months the Circle can be turned with the black and white side up during use. This provides mirrors, plenty of different textures, a squeaker in the central heart and the black and white patterns which very young babies are known to respond to before colours. For babies who can sit unaided the Circle can be flipped to use its other side. This contains a Humpty Dumpty figure who can be placed in and out of the wall; a baby doll which can be placed in a cradle and a fish which can disappear in a shiny wave - all intended to teach the concept that objects can be hidden from view but still exist. This section of the Circle also has different textures and sounds to explore, and the outer rim has nursery rhymes printed on to it.
