The 2.5m Clubmoor Children's Centre opened in the Norris Green area of Liverpool last week, the 16th in the city. As well as providing 50 places for under-fives, the centre offers adult education, Jobcentre Plus and family support services. A further eight centres are due to open by the end of 2008.
