The launch of a Liverpool council's children's centre initiative was marked by soap actress Jennifer Biddal, who plays Jessica Harris in 'Hollyoaks', paying visits to the three most recently opened centres. Knowsley Metropolitan Council held fun days at St Aloysius Children's Centre in Huyton, New Hutte Children's Centre in Halewood and Ravenscroft Children's Centre in Kirkby. Thirteen centres are due to be open in Knowsley by the end of this year.
