Daddy Daycare second show screens

Provision Working With Parents
The first episode of the reality TV programme provoked strong reactions - will the second serving of men in the nursery meet with a better reception?

Here's what Channel 4 said aboutthe sedcond show, set in London Early Years Foundation's Carlton Hill nursery.

'Stressed-out father to four girls Grant (32), old-fashioned dad Paul (40) and career-committed new dad Tony (30) spend a week working at north-west London nursery Carlton Hill, staffed - like many nurseries - entirely by women.

'Grant's wife Lorna wants him to connect with his daughters rather than getting frustrated and shouting at them. But he gets a dressing down from the manager Marion after losing his patience with kids at the nursery.

'Windscreen fitter and dad-of-three Paul has never changed a nappy and wants to prove that childcare is easy 'women's work'. His partner Sally would love him to understand how difficult it is, and on the first day, when Paul's sent to work in the baby unit, the nursery staff seem to agree.

'Recruitment consultant Tony's wife Marilyn wants him to spend more time with his baby son and less time working or watching Sky Sports.

Will the experience of looking after other people's children give the dads the confidence and passion to care for their own children and support their partners more?'
