'Display' is a word that has a variety of meanings depending on its context. In a museum or library, a display is usually some kind of exhibition. In sport, a display is the exposition of people's skills and achievements. In a school, a display can be an exhibition of interesting artefacts or the exposition of children's work. In early years settings, practitioners should ensure that their energies are focused on using display as an educational tool. It is important that any audience of a display should have its needs met effectively.
