I am an Advanced Diploma in Childcare and Education student about to embark on my dissertation on the transition from pre-school to mainstream school for a child with Down's syndrome. I would like to hear from anyone who has experience of Down's syndrome in a pre-school setting and has any knowledge of the transfer process and would also like to explore what barriers there are to learning.
