End child poverty by 2020

Chancellor Gordon Brown must seize next year's spending review to get back on track to meet the Government's pledge to end child poverty by 2020, the Fabian Commission on Life Chances and Child Poverty said on Friday. The final report of the two-year inquiry, 'Narrowing the Gap', lists recommendations to end the causes and consequences of inequality in the UK.
