I really wish I had known about the eight different intelligences when I was a child. My best friend always came top in every exam, whereas I floundered at the bottom. If I'd known about multiple intelligences then, I'd have known that he was very good at some, and I was very good at others, and so would have been more confident. Two of the multiple intelligences are interpersonal ('people smart'), and intrapersonal ('self smart'). Can ICT support these two intelligences? I believe so:

* Set up an email contact with a culturally different school, either in this country or abroad. Help pupils in both schools realise that although there are differences, essentially we are all the same. Email photos of different body parts to each other, and make an electronic or paper-based booked called 'I have two feet'. Each page will have a photo of a child's body part from either school, and a sentence about the body parts we all have.
