Forest Phones (19.99) Who's Speaking, Who's Listening (49.99)

Equipment & Resources
Following on from the popularity of their Talking Tubes (14.99), Reflections on Learning has launched another two products that enable children to speak to and hear each other using handsets connected by flexible hollow tubing.
Forest Phones enable children to have conversations outdoors or in. Made from tough, camouflage patterned plastic, the standard set comprises two handsets and 5m of matt green tubing. The tubing is flexible and tough and can be wound around trees, through bushes, or even buried under topsoil.

The Who's Speaking, Who's Listening set can be used to engage up to six children in a variety of listening and speaking games. Children sit around a central six-way connector and when one person speaks, all the others can hear them. The ideas leaflet that comes with the set includes listening and speaking games and describes playful approaches to building-up children's phonic knowledge.
