Hoyle Early Years Centre in Bury, Lancashire

(Photograph) - Hoyle Early Years Centre in Bury, Lancashire, was one of eight new buildings in north-west England to receive a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Award last week for excellence in design quality and contribution to the local environment. Headteacher Clare Barker said, 'It's a beautiful building, very modern, light and airy, and it's a pleasure to work in. There is a lot of glass - which is unusal for a nursery - but in every room we can see the sky, trees and greenery.'Photo RIBA
