Lesley Staggs has left the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. Ms Staggs, who was principal manager for early years at the QCA, has not as yet been replaced. A spokesperson for the QCA said, 'She led the work on developing the early learning goals and the curriculum guidance for the foundation stage and must take a large part of the credit for the enthusiastic reception these initiatives received.' Ms Staggs left the QCA in February planning to take a break before deciding on her next move.
